SEO for beauty centers: 13 sites, measured
A beauty center is chosen for proximity and trust, and both are decided online before picking up the phone. The questions are precise: “how much does laser hair removal cost,” “does it hurt,” “how many sessions are needed”, and more and more often they end up with an assistant. We ran 13 real sites through the engine that analyzes yours.
Before the sector averages, the number that matters is yours: the same measurement, on your address, in thirty seconds.
Check your siteThe numbers, before the explanations
54 / 100
The median of the 13 sites reached. Average 56, from the worst at 47 to the best at 65.
62
The classic part: titles, descriptions, structure, internal links.
43
How readable you are for an AI assistant that has to recommend you.
Beautiful to look at, silent to read
Nineteen points between the SEO median and the GEO one. These sites are polished in their image, with photos, colors and animations, and very poor in declared text: nobody signs anything (thirteen out of thirteen), treatments are listed without explanation, and prices are almost never there.
The flaws, in order of how many sites have them
-
100%
Nobody signs the siteMedium
Thirteen out of thirteen. Who works at the center, for how long, with what training. In a service performed on people's skin, the name of the person doing it is the first signal of trust, and for a model it is the difference between attributable text and anonymous text.
-
100%
The page doesn't answer the question right awayMedium
Assistants cite the sentence that answers, not the whole page. The first lines should say who you are, what you do and for whom in plain words, before the slogans, the photos and the menu. If the answer arrives after three screens, the assistant takes someone else's.
-
100%
Numbers, timeframes and prices are missingMedium
An assistant gladly reports what can be verified: durations, hours, prices or price ranges, years in practice. Phrases like «serving clients for years» give nothing to cite.
-
100%
No date showing how up to date the page isMedium
An assistant choosing which source to cite also looks at how fresh it is. «Updated October 2026» written on the page, and declared in the structured data, shows that someone looks after it. Without it, the page could be five years old, and with equal content the one with the date wins.
-
100%
The site doesn't answer the questions people ask out loudLow
“Does laser hair removal hurt?” “How many sessions are needed for the legs?” “Can it be done in summer?” These are the questions of every first phone call. Out of thirteen sites, thirteen do not have enough sentences that resemble them.
-
100%
Reviews have no nameLow
An anonymous testimonial (“satisfied customer”) cannot be verified, and an assistant treats it as such. Name, initial or role, and city, with the person's consent, make it a source.
-
92%
Headings don't resemble clients' questionsMedium
Whoever asks an assistant writes a full question. A heading written as a question, with the answer right below it, is the easiest piece to cite: «How long does the first consultation last?» works better than «Information».
-
92%
No coordinatesLow
For a business chosen because it is ten minutes from home, not declaring where it is in a machine-readable form is the most costly item on the list.
The three things to start with
- 1Add a signature and a face. Who works at the center, with name and training. It closes the flaw that all thirteen measured sites have today, and in a service about the person it is worth more than any other fix.
- 2Write the answers to the five questions everyone asks. Pain, number of sessions, season, contraindications, indicative price. Declared as questions and answers, they become citable by an assistant.
- 3Declare the center in JSON-LD. BeautySalon schema with address, coordinates, hours and phone: it is the part that makes you appear in the “near me” search.
How we measured
- How many sites13 on the list, 13 reached.
- How many pagesUp to 5 pages per site, starting from the home page.
- With whatThe same function that analyzes your site when you press «Analyze for free». No hand-assigned scores.
- How they were chosenSearching Google for “beauty center” and “beauty institute” together with the names of five Italian cities, and taking the centers' own sites, not the directories. They are therefore among those Google already shows.
- What we do not publishThe names. Measuring a public site is what the product does every day; publishing the report card with the name on it is something else.
Thirteen sites are a small sample, and the numbers describe these thirteen. They serve to show that the flaws repeat and that in this sector nobody is ahead yet, not to produce a national statistic.
